I’m weeks behind on Blog Stalker. I’m very disappointed in myself, I still haven’t learned how to cope with deadlines. I suppose you can guess why I dropped out of college, right? Haha. Anyway, I will try to catch up on Blog Stalker later, but first I’ll update about knitting!
I’m still working on a second Hedera. The first one was finished back in August! Major second sock syndrome alert!

I’ve also finished the first sock of a variation on the Falling In Love pattern. I just removed the cables from the pattern because I hate doing those. Not only do I find them frustrating to work on, I have not yet mastered cables well enough to make them look pretty, which leads to more frustration and eventually to frogging, so I decided just to skip those. It’s my first finished toe-up sock. I’ve finished the first one a couple of weeks ago and I still haven’t started a second.

And I of course still owe you pictures of the Clapotis. I’m having a terrible time making any good pictures of it.
I guess I’ll just have to keep on trying.

Pattern Clapotis from Knitty Fall 2004
Alterations Knitted on 4mm needles; repeat sections 2 and 3 two more times than suggested
Yarn If I remember correctly, three and a half skeins of Lana Grossa Merino 2000 #438
Speaking of my beloved Lana Grossa Merino 2000, here is some more!

There are three balls of each color in my possession, #443 (the grey) and #532 (the blue). They were intended for Eunny Jang’s Entrelac Socks, but I’ve posponed that project and am now turning them into my second pair of..

Jaywalkers! IN RAVENCLAW COLORS! I didn’t even realize that untill after I purchased the yarn. The miracle is that this time I don’t seem to be having gauge issues at all, though I’m using the same needles and the same yarn.
Don’t let me stray from Harry Potter. (I’m reading the series again at the moment) I’m doing my first illusion knitting, namely the Dark Mark Illusion Scarf.

The “illusion” shows up surprizingly well on camera. See?
