Yes, it’s true. I’m pregnant. The cat is finally out of the bag and I can speak freely.
This picture is from my first ultrasound last Wednesday, when I was exactly 9 weeks along. I know some people keep their pregnancy a secret for the first three months, but I’m horrible at keeping secrets so here it is. M. and I are thrilled and now that our families have had some time to get used to it, they’re very happy as well.
Can you believe how fast everything is going for me? Six months ago I was convinced I’d be a lonely old hermit one day and now I’m living with my prince Charming (haha!) and am the adoptive mommy to a bunny and a kitty with a human baby on the way. I would have laughed in the face of anyone who’d fortold me this could ever happen.
I also have some better pictures of Dixie to share now, here and here. She loves lounging in bed with me in the morning, which is where I took these.

I remember when Summer was that tiny. Seriously, the time goes by SO SO fast.
I mean, it was only last year she was that tiny….now she’s spends like 2 hours yelling just to hear her voice.(seriously)

those things always look so surreal to me! its just SO TINY!!! wonder if its gonna be a boy or a girl…for some reason i’m getting a girl vibe…
